We Muslims have two holidays (Eids) in the year. They are eid Alfitr and eid

Aladha. Eid Alfitr comes after the holy month of Ramadan, while eid Aladha comes

after the Hajj (in the 10th of Dhulhijjah).

Eid Aladha, comes after doing the great worship of Hajj (Hajj is a kind of worship in

Islam which a Muslim should do at least once in his/her life if he/she can). So Allah

told us to celebrate eids as a way of thanking Him The One Who taught and

helped us worship Him in the right way, so we are very grateful to Him.

In eid people rise very early to perform the eid prayer and listen to a short lecture

(khutbah). After that, they visit their relatives (especially the elder ones) to

congratulate them on this great occasion, asking Allah to accept our prayers and

good deeds.

It is a sunnah (following prophet Muhammad peace be upon him doings) to wear a

new dress in eid and to make people and especially young children happy at that

day. So in eid Alfitr we are asked to pay (zakat alfitr) which is an amount of food of

some kinds. This zakat is given to poor people the night before the eid so they can

enjoy the happiness of eid with others. And in eid Aladha we sacrifice a sheep or

any kind of cattle and give the poor and needy people from its meet.

In Islam eid is a time in the year were all people get together whether they are old,

young, poor, or rich in order to thank Allah for all what He has given us.

Happy Eid to all Muslims.

happy Eid to every single Muslim wherever s/he is.

Muslims in some countries are facing many prolems,, not only in NONE MUSLIMS countries but even in the MUSLIMS countries.

I wish this EID will come with a good solutions for our brothers in IRAQ, and wish those Kuwaities in IRAQ become FREE and get back to their families who are missing them for long.. I wish Muslims in Pelestine will be able to celeprate the EID with NO killing (just a wish !). Thos Muslims in the poor countries -all over the world- hopefuly will feel some difference.

Ameed ya rab al aalameen.
